Leading Energy Provider / Coal Seam Gas Development Projects / Commercial Gas Production / Downstream Focus / Brisbane Based Role / Operating Team Focus

Our client was established to participate in the development of Coal Seam Gas Projects, addressing Queensland's growing demand for energy and power generation. With aim to continuing the overall development of Coal Seam Gas Projects, they currently require a Junior Geologist.

Reporting to the Senior Geologist, successful candidates will be degree qualified within science / geology, whilst a petroleum industry background is essential.

Specific responsibilites will include:
# Basic Science / Prospect Assessment
# Mapping and modelling
# Well site geology
# Core and chip assessment
# Logging and reporting

As a Brisbane based role, site based activity will be for extended periods of times during drilling programs. With an estimated 2 separate programs per year, successful candidates will be required to be site based for approximately 4-8 weeks per program.
