The successful tender for the front end design of this high-profile mid-stream oil & gas facility has created opportunities to join this highly regarded global EPC Company for a minimum 6 month contract. Global interests in the energy & resources sectors mean ongoing opportunities for secondments with a variety of projects for valued project biased professionals.

We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join the Melbourne Office for an immediate start. Ideally you will be a specialist with the FEED stage of major projects in the upstream oil & gas industry. Leading the Structural team, you will provide guidance and creative solutions to some of the unique challenges that arise in the construction of a Major Hazard Facility.

The Senior Structural Engineer will have knowledge and design experience with
# onshore and/ or offshore oil & gas facilities including pipelines, gas plants & refineries, loading facilities and mooring stations.
# modelling sofware specifically used with Structural analysis, such as Spacegass, Strand 7, SACS etc.
# Relevant International Codes and Standards that are relevant to onshore and/ or offshore structures.
# leading and mentoring a team of junior engineers in a consultancy environment

You are Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, and have had considerable experience in the Consulting environment. Your project experience in the oil & gas, or petrochemical Industries will likely have covered the FEED, conceptual and detailed design of onshore gas plants or refineries.
