Refinery has an immediate need for an ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER. Requires BSEE and 5+ years experience in Oil Refining or related field. Must have skills with design of electrical installations in hazardous areas, understanding of the National Electric Code, experience in design of power distribution systems including load flow, short circuit analysis, coordination, and arc flash analysis. Proven project management experience is a must. Responsible to maintain and use ETAP modeling of plant high and medium voltage systems, work with engineering and multiple installation contractors on large plant projects, supervise draftsmen and engineering consultants in preparation of drawings and specifications for projects. Also responsible to support small in-plant electrical projects including scope definition, cost development, equipment data review, and construction,startup support; relay coordination, transformer sizing,selection, and electrical feeder sizing.
