We divide our business into principal areas of operation: Subsea Umbilical Risers and Flowlines (SURF), Inspection and Maintenance and Repair (IMR), Conventional Field Development, and Trunklines. We support operations in these areas with a highly adaptable fleet of ships and a range of additional services.
We concentrate on providing services that add value for our clients throughout the lifecycle of their offshore oil and gas fields.
Job descriptionThe project Surveyor will be responsible for producing detailed Survey and Positioning support to company SURF and pipeline installation construction projects during tendering, operational and close out phases of the project. He / she will ensure work is completed in a professional, timely and safe manner using applicable standards and best practice. Specific duties include:
-Contribute to the project teams with ideas, methods and advice to achieve, working engineering solutions.
-Be responsible for producing survey documentation and procedures
-Assist preparation and monitoring of subcontract services
-Work closely with The Company Survey operational team to ensure best use of resources
-Provide technical support to the Commercial Department for purpose of bid preparation.
-Be involved in risk assessments and conversant with company requirements on this subject.
-Although based in Aberdeen the project Surveyor can be required to work at other regional bases especially during project preparation and start up.
-Contribute to the survey group global best practice process.
RequirementsQualifications:
The successful candidate will have a formal qualification in an appropriate survey or engineering subject and be able to demonstrate competence with supporting offshore construction works preferably in a supervisory or senior position.
