Job descriptionOur Client, a large European (operator) integrated oil and gas group requires a Petrophysicist.
Performing reservoir descriptions or characterization studies using innovative analysis techniques.
Evaluating rock and fluid petrophysical properties incorporating a full array of data types including open hole logs, special and routine core analysis, image log analysis, well tests, drilling data, or formation pressures.
Preparing petrophysical formation evaluation modules for single or multi-well processing to achieve desired results specific to project and client’s needs.
Integrating petrophysical reservoir properties into geologic and simulation models to achieve superior predictions and assessments.
RequirementsBSc or higher degree in Geology
8-15 years experience
Experienced user of industry standard formation evaluation software such as Geolog or GS
An understanding of and experience in quantifying reservoir uncertainty
Ability to work with industry professionals to undertake reservoir characterization
Experience with drilling and production operations
Experience in dealing with industry regulators and partners
Other remarksRelocation Allowance
Provided by the client, if needed. Reimbursed at actual documented cost up to a maximum of ˆ7,000.00 for Initial mobilisation and ˆ7,000,00 for demobilisation
Accommodation provided by the client – To be reimbursed at actual Documented cost up to a max of ˆ2,500 per month. First 2 weeks hotel costs (lodging and laundry but Excl. meals) will be reimbursed at documented cost.
