Group Lead - Project Contracts and Procurement
A leading natural gas producer has an immediate opening for an experienced Group Lead - Project Contracts and Procurement individual in Calgary. Candidate MUST have 15 years experience (increasing responsibility) in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) contracting and procurement for projects development in the Oil & Gas industry. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary and a suitable post graduate degree or equivalent experience are also necessary. This role will involve the formation and administration of contracts as well as purchasing and materials management.
The Group Lead serves as the primary internal resource and external contact for the contracting and procurement function for Projects within the division. Some of the responsibilities include managing the contract and procurement work process, leveraging synergies with other groups, pre qualification of suppliers, planning, strategy,supporting site Construction Management Teams, and monitoring client satisfaction.
