Woodside is Australia's leading independent oil and gas company and major supplier of energy to Asia, We are Australia's largest publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production company with and continue to grow.
The Pluto LNG project is part of Woodside's ambition to become a global leader in LNG production by 2015, and with this and many other exciting projects in the pipeline we are seeking expressions of interest from all levels of candidates to provide Project Engineering expertise for the construction of onshore and offshore facilities.

The Project Engineers act as the main focal point for all project matters associated with the construction in the Projects Division. A variety of positions will be available through projects from the BOD phase, through FEED and then construction.
Typical responsibilities or areas of contribution include:
*
Project engineering expertise for the development of construction scope of works and, co-ordination review/approval of project specification and detailed design
*
Project tracking and scheduling of construction contracts, including all cost, schedule, HSE and quality aspects
* Contract documentation, using Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and HSE services
* Evaluation of submittals, using Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and HSE services as required and recommend technically competent tenderers
* Technical provision of documentation requirements for inclusion in tender documents, utilizing Quality, HSE and Engineering services as required.
* Ensuring technical integrity, reliability and HSE requirements are met during all phases of the project whilst remaining within schedule and budget.
*
Peer level interface with other projects to ensure lessons learnt, life cycle analysis and other are incorporated into the project specifications and detailed design
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders through appropriate focal points.
*
Support relationship between the contractors and the Main Contractor and manage relevant interfaces.
*
Demonstration and excellence in behaviour with regard to HSE.
Qualifications
These positions requires tertiary qualifications in a relevent engineering discipline. In addition, candidates must have extensive relevant experience, the majority of which should have been spent at an engineer level in the oil and gas industry or other complex processing facilties projects.
Candidates are expected to be motivated, customer driven, and have a proven track record in delivering to targets. In addition, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong leadership and performance management skills combined with a committed team approach are fundamental for success.
