Corrosion Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The basic functions of Corrosion Engineer are below:

Understanding of corrosion problems and field analysis and providing corrective and cost effective solutions.

Perform corrosion rate & failure analysis calculations.

Work with Engineering Services in reviewing Technologies related to sub-sea structure & piping, tanks corrosion related items.

Review sub-sea structure & piping, tanks inspection reports associated with corrosion issues and provide procedures to implement recommendations.

Monitor maintenance and inspection programs for corrosion related items and ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco and industry standards.

Perform reviews of major engineering packages.

Selection Criteria

1. Chemical Engineer.

2. 10 - 15 yrs. in oil & gas operations field.

Education: B.S. Chemical Engineering.
