Qualifications• Technology diploma.
• Related Integrity training such as PESL, welder inspection, National Board or API 510 or 570 training, or CGSB Level II certification would be beneficial.
• Minimum ten years of related integrity field experience in a service role, an operating role or in a production, operations, facilities design or project management role.
• Knowledge of facilities and processes related to both gas and oil production.
• Field experience with operating, pipeline inspections, pressure equipment NDE, pipeline liner installations or pressure equipment inspections would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of corrosion, materials and chemistry relating to integrity management.
• Understanding of EUB and ABSA rules and regulations for Alberta and similar requirements within the BC and Saskatchewan jurisdictions.
• Strong leadership and facilitation capabilities.
• Strong communication, relational and problem solving skills.
• Good computer skills and experience with spreadsheets and databases.
Responsibilities• Implement pipeline and pressure equipment integrity programs for assigned district.
• Familiar with the operating conditions for each facility and pipeline of the district.
• Provide direction and leadership to maximize the value and cost effectiveness of the 3rd party inspection management company.
• Ensure compliance verification of all the tasks identified in the integrity programs.
• Develop and maintain effective risk ranking documentation and identify proactive inspections and replacements.
• Assist the Production Foremen in directing and reviewing the PSV, inspection, UT and Cathodic Protection programs.
• Provide direction on the annual budgets, multi year plans, equipment and pipeline databases, integrity tasks, turnaround requirements, work lists and reporting.
• Coordinate failure investigations and hazard assessments of pipelines or facilities.
• Ensure integrity aspects are being addressed by focus teams on new capital projects.
• Promote the use of Management of Change (MOC).
• Coordinate the accredited Electrical Regulatory Management Program (RMP).
• Support other integrity programs including drawing and material control and gas fired equipment burner management systems.
• Conduct training and refreshers for the PEIM, Pipeline O&M, MOC, and Electrical Regulatory Management programs.
• Regular travel to field locations.
