QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE

To act as the focal point for the QA and IMS (Integrated Management System) activities, co-ordinate concept and plan implementation and monitor quality performance of the Company so that there is enhanced awareness about quality in the Company, a good image in the market and customer satisfaction.

1. Maintain the IMS
 Maintain the Company Integrated Management System against the Marketing & Production Companies requirements and selected international standards.

2. Co-ordinate all internal IMS (ISO 9001 & 14001) audits
 Provide a proper external / internal training for the internal IMS auditors
 Agree time schedule & process to be audited and maintain the annual “Internal IMS Audit Schedule”
 Assign internal IMS auditor to the audit.
 Monitor and follow-up the implementation of the agreed corrective action requests (CAR) & keep the records up-to-date.
 Prepare and distribute a monthly report to the management & auditor about the status of audits & CARs (Corrective Action Request).

3. Facilitate external IMS (ISO or any other relevant) audits
 Agree and communicate the audit schedule to the management, internal IMS auditors and other people involved.
 Organize an easy access for the auditor to the relevant people / documentation needed according to the audit scope.
 Facilitate the audit and organize relevant people to participate in the audit opening / closing sessions.
 Keep the management and internal IMS auditors up-to-date about the audit outcome.
 Monitor and follow-up the implementation of the observations and non-conformances issued by the auditors.

4. Facilitate IMS (ISO or any other relevant) Management Reviews
 Agree the schedule for Management reviews.
 Prepare and distribute the agenda, collect & collate all the input data and issue it as pre-reading material for the meetings.
 Facilitate the discussion.
 Record and distribute the minutes of the meeting.
 Monitor and follow-up of the implementation of the agreed actions.

5. Administration of the EDMS (Electronic Document Management System)
Make people aware of the necessity of having up-to-date documents in place.
Upload of new documents and revisions to the existing documents.
Delete of obsolete / superseded documentation as required.
Follow-up the agreed documentation review schedule and remind the due dates if required.

6. Work closely with other companies Quality Assurance people to ensure the consistency and the quality of the quality assurance activities throughout the company.

7. Participate actively in the promotions, campaigns, problem identification and selection of improvement projects and provides guidance, advice and practical input for these projects / initiatives as part of the quality assurance area.

8. Maintain and update the ICU Café in the Bornet frequently.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 B.Sc. in Engineering, Business or any equivalent education.
 Minimum 5 years working experience, of which 3 years related to QA area
 Technology know-how (systems, machinery, equipment, etc.)
