Refinery Analyzer Support

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BS Engineering.

Experience: 10 years. Knowledgeable in establishing communications between analyzers and Distributed Control Systems. Strong oral and written communications abilities and a good working knowledge of personal computer applications.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Analyzer Engineer will be required to support field process analyzer technology, covering all aspects from conceptual design, through detailed engineering, day-to-day maintenance activities, long-term performance monitoring, field troubleshooting, and analyzer engineer/maintenance technician training. The support shall be given to all 5 Saudi Aramco Refineries located in Saudi Arabia.

The Analyzer Engineer shall be an expert in the analyzer sample systems who can evaluate and implement modifications to On-Line Analyzers throughout the Refinery. Must be able to conduct field surveys and recommend remedies to solve pressure, flow, and contamination problems.

The Analyzer Engineer shall assist in developing and optimized on-line analyzer preventive maintenance program. Assist in the review of analyzer material and spare parts. Will assist in reviewing and setting up an effective analyzer training program at each refinery.

Provide support for On-Line Analyzers including the following models:

1) ABB: Gas Chromatagraph (GC s) Simulated Distillation, RVP, PNA, and Vista Workstation.

2) Applied Automation: NIR Octane Analyzers.

3) Dupont: Color and Oxygen Analyzers.

4) ASOMA: Sulfur and Lead Analyzers.

5) Beckman: GC.

6) Brookfield: Viscosity.

7) Core Lab: V/L.

8) Precision: Color, Viscosity, Cloud, and Pour Point Analyzers.

9) Panametrics: Oxygen and Moisture Analyzers.

10) Rosemount: CO and Specific Gravity Analyzers.

11) Others: Servomex/Western Research/Ametke/Houston Atlas.
