Senior reservoir engineer needed for a six month contract position in west Houston. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or higher degree in petroleum engineering, have Gulf of Mexico experience, and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, Responsibilities will include providing operational reservoir expertise to adapt the drilling sequence, optimize draw-off and maintain production productivity; organizing and approving field monitoring activities and determining priorities, contributing to the assessment of reserves and production profiles for prospects, discoveries, and producing fields; ensuring cohesion between subsurface and surface operations (drilling, well, process and architecture), ensuring design, operations follow-up and first level interpretation of measurements (well test, logs, fluids, cores, etc.), planning and initiating comprehensive studies in order to produce a reliable image of producing reserves, and acting as a representative of the reservoir engineering discipline for the affiliate.
