Description:CCL has been requested by a major EPC contractor to provide a very capable and experienced Project Intervention Engineer to be based in Angola on a 4x4 rotation. Candidates should be willing to travel as required. T&C's to be discussed. While the successful candidate is based in Angola Client will provide (at their cost) accommodation in a company operated hotel complex and provide transport to and from the office. Very good daily rate.
Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates with an engineering degree, but candidates with any engineering qualification who have experience in deep water ROV applications (especially with regards to RovCon connection systems etc.) who can demonstrate the capability to carry out the responsibilities listed above will be given serious consideration. Proven ability in drafting of procedure documentation. Good organisational skills and smart working methods. Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience:Must have experience within the Oil and Gas industry preferably Subsea, including Africa. Intervention Engineer for a West African life of field and light construction project, supporting the project team with specific regard to ROV intervention operations. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Drafting intervention procedures; Facilitating risk assessments on intervention issues; Managing specification and delivery of new intervention tooling requirements; Managing system integration trials. Deep water remote intervention experience. Working knowledge of IRM vessel activities. Previous experience of overseas locations a distinct advantage.
