Maintenance Engineering

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: BS Electronic Engineering or Physics.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years of job related experience. A thorough knowledge of Aramco s maintenance policies, procedures, cost and budget systems, and problems throughout SAO. Must be willing to travel throughout area of operations and frequently commute to job locations in areas other than residence.

Position Description

Develops and coordinates maintenance programs, procedures and systems throughout the Maintenance activity and appraises the effectiveness of their application.

Selection Criteria

Ideal candidate should have at least Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 12 years of continuously progressive engineering experience.

The candidate should have extensive experience in rotating equipment as follows:

Test & Inspection of Gas Turbines and Compressors components.

Extensive and in-depth knowledge of GE frame 6B gas turbine engines mechanical, electric, electronic and GE MKV monitoring systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electric and electronic systems of gas turbine engines.

Supervise all technical and engineering activities related to field operation and maintenance of heavy gas turbines.

Advise and take corrective actions in all technical activities related to gas turbine and its equipment/accessories.

Report the status of the unit activities regularly to management.

Provide advice, and prepare IDP s and training to the unit engineers.

The candidate should have a strong analytical ability in problem solving, solid background in managing projects, experienced in preparing & publishing technical articles, and work experience with a multi-national workforce.
