Lead Production Engineer

Location: Africa
Required for operator, working in their Libya offices. To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary subsurface team preparing a plan for a major field (re)development. In parallel with field development planning, will be responsible for day-to-day production planning and optimisation.

Ideal candidates should have 1st degree in Physical Science or Engineering MSc in Petroleum. Significant demonstrated knowledge of artificial lift operations including ESP and SRP. Extensive knowledge of well intervention operation and onshore oil and gas production. Good knowledge of PT software. Working knowledge and understanding of other subsurface disciplines.

Contract duration long term i.e. 1 year mininum, with likely extension thereafter. Residential or rotational considered. Day rate negotiable.
