Lead Completion Engineer

Location: UK
Lead Completion Engineer required for Major Operator for project in Algeria. The position will initially be based in the London office for ~9 months during the project planning phase then move to Algeria when the project team moves in country for ~15 months (the work in Algeria will be on a 28/28 rotation).

The position is to start June 2008 for an initial 2 year contract.

Essential Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering.
- Extensive completion experience including completion design and supervision at the well site.
- Proven track record in completion design including tubing stress analysis.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Good computer literacy in MS suite as well as completion design and tubing stress analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal (English) communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop ideas and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to mentor national and less experienced engineers and colleagues.
- Commitment to HSE principles.
