Large profitable refinery owned by multiplant refiner seeks a Senior Process Control Engineer. JUST HIRED 2 ENGINEERS FROM US Want to hire in the $90/110K range.
Description:
Daily support, monitoring, and enhancement to existing multivariable advanced control applications
Design, review, and modify regulatory and advanced regulatory control loops * regulatory loop tuning
Routine console operator training to sustain advanced control utilization
Submit, manage, and retire Management of Change documentation paperwork as required
Process analysis for process control project feasibility determination
Process review and close coordination with Process Engineering and Operations for assigned area of responsibility
Provide design and support to development of new unit and multi-unit optimization applications
Acts as CO. team leader to support development of these type applications with contract personnel
Implement and maintain applications needed to support advanced control and optimization programs
Process Control subject matter expert for process hazards analysis review, process design modifications, risk assessment review, or incident investigations * Mentor associate level engineers
Subject to appropriate band level
Ability to work independently toward assigned objectives with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications:
BS Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5/15+ years petroleum refining experience - minimum 2 years experience in advanced process control development and implementation
DCS experience prefered.
Experience with multivariable control software is preferred.
Familiarity with any real time online optimization software is highly preferred
Excellent written and technical writing skills is required
Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills are required. The ability to communicate effectively with management and console operators, develop and deliver oral presentations, and facilitate inter-department meetings is required
