Power generation company in the Knoxville, TN area, is in search of a Lead CO2 Design Engineer {Plant & Piping}, for an immediate direct hire position. Qualified candidates will have a BSCHe OR BSME in additional to a PE License. You must have five or more years of experience in the layout and design of plants and experience in plant construction, commissioning and operation within the oil & gas Industry. Knowledge required; Flow regimes in piping, mechanics of solids physics, fluid & Gas transportation, material selection, valve selection, refrigerant (R410A, ammonia, Freon) systems, multi-phase flow ect...Responsible for the optimum arrangement and piping layout of the Chilled Ammonia Process (CAP) and/or Advanced Amines (AAP) CO2 capture plants and ensuring conformance of these deliverables to codes, standards, and work instructions.
