Description:CCL has been requested by a leading oil, gas and petrochemical risk consultant and insurance broker to provide a Risk Management - Chemical Engineer (Marine & Energy) to work in a risk engineering team essential to the growth of Client's Marine and Energy Practice and a key element with Client's energy broking team in placing risks in international insurance markets. Although based in Houston, the role offers extensive travel within USA and Latin America (estimated 33 percent of the time). Compensation / benefits to be discussed. This vacancy is being handled by CCL's Houston office.
Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Comprehensive understanding of MS Office Suite is also mandatory. Ideally looking for a candidate with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, but this is not mandatory. Must be eligible to live and work in the U.S.A.
Experience:Ideal candidate will have worked as a Process Engineer or an Operations Engineer or a Refinery Engineer / Superintendent / Manager or Deputy with a refinery owner / operator, like Dow, Corning, Exxon, BP, Basell Lyondell, Valero, Shell, Citgo, ConocoPhillips, with 5 - 15 years of refining / petrochemical experience to conduct consulting risk management services.
