Description:CCL has been requested by a major international oil and gas company to provide a Contracts Engineer - Field Operations to be based in Lagos, Nigeria on a residential basis. Contract renewable annually, duration of project until June 2010. Internationally competitive rates. Good conditions and high security.
Qualifications:Ideal candidate will be well educated and have previous experience on a large multinational task force environment with a thorough knowledge of pre and post contract engineering in a large oil and gas project. Should have good professionalism and adaptability skills, display team oriented work preferences while able to show initiative. Ability to establish credibility quickly and be diplomatic. Have clear, concise written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience:Previous experience in both pre and post contract engineering in large oil & gas projects. Essential responsibilities within this role include: Complete the Call for Tender process with Nigerian authorities and the contractual negotiations for the main Field Operations contracts. Prepare tender, issue recommendations and award all secondary Field Operations contracts in time for offshore mobilisation mid-year. Administer all Field Operations contracts and Drilling & Completion contracts after award.
