Description:CCL has been requested by a leading oil & gas company to provide a Contracts Management Systems & Training Specialist for a position based in Kazakhstan. This position is residential or 28/28 day rotation with a contract duration of 1 year (renewable). Visits to other company facilities when required. Excellent rates negotiable for the right candidate.
Qualifications:Degree level professional education or equivalent with relevant work experience. Candidates must have proven sound knowledge of project and corporate contract procedures as well as finance procedures. Familiarity with all phases of oil & gas contracts (including studies, concept selection, front-end engineering, detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning with associated management services). Familiarity with pre-qualification activities, contract strategies, payment strategies, ITT's letters of intent and final contract documents. Strong presentation skills. Ability to initiate and promote discipline of Contracts Administration. Ability to initiate and maintain post-contract award procedures to fulfil Company requirements. Able to communicate clearly, including formal classroom setting. Ability to work without supervision. Strong persuading and influencing skills. Change Management skills. Good working knowledge of ERP system such as SAP and knowledge of reporting tools. Strong PowerPoint skills. Working knowledge of other computer based systems (Microsoft Office or equivalent packages). Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience:At least 10 years' experience in oil & gas industry and at least 3 years' experience of training development and delivery. Experience in formulation and post-award administration of small, medium and large contracts (onshore and offshore design, fabrication, supply and constructional contracts) and dealing with partners and stakeholders. Experience in process improvement.
