We are looking for experienced steel designers
Imagine an industry that is growing larger and larger all the time. An industry that has never had a large decline, like the current housing industry. Onquest, Inc. supplies fired heaters, process furnaces, and other combustion-related technology to the oil refining & petrochemical industries. We also specialize in building complete plants for alternative fuels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with standard industry software packages to develop the designs that go into every major refinery in the world.
Become part of the Engineering team that builds complete alternative fuel plants.
Check mechanical and structural drawings for completenes and accuracy.
Participate in design meetings where new ideas are always welcome
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
A work history that must include design with steel
Knowledge of Microstation a plus
Some 3D experience in structures a plus
Must have an outgoing personality that works well in a team environment.
Must be a resident of the United States.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Company benefits include health plan, vacation, holidays and 401-K.
Software packages that we use include Word, Excel, Microstation, CadWorx, SolidWorks, AutoCad, Risa 3D, capipe, Ceaser III.
