MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Ph.D Chemistry.

Experience: 10 years experience. Previous experience in the oil industry and GLP is preferred. Experience with PS analytical instrumentation is preferred. Knowledge in GLP/ ISO 17025 requirements is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communications and technical writing skills are a must for this position. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated team player with problem solving skills.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will require field trips within the areas of company operations. It requires hands on lab work so familiarity and experience with a lab environment is a must. The position involves developing a group to analyze for Mercury and Arsenic in Hydrocarbon gas & NGL. The candidate is expected to:

1. Perform all field activities that require gas contaminants investigation and determination.

2. Develop/ Modify analytical methods to analyze low levels of Mercury and Arsenic and meet GLP requirements.

3. Develop methods for Mercury and Arsenic speciation.

4. Identify instruments and equipments necessary for analysis of Mercury and Arsenic in Hydrocarbon gas & NGL.

5. Provide training for Scientists and Lab technicians.
