POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Applicant will require having extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering.
(1) Experience in Design and Projects of oil and gas processing plant.
(2) Providing technical consultations on issues related to HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning).
(3) Familiarity with International codes and specifications applicable to the HVAC, such as ASHRAE, for essential operating facilities such as electrical substation, process interface buildings, satellite instrument houses, control buildings, analyzer shelters, process management centers, switchgear buildings and any other buildings, located onshore or offshore, and control systems that are vital in the production, processing and transportation of hydrocarbon oil industry standards.
(4) Awareness of process designs, ability to communicate with Operations/Maintenance and project personnel at all levels.
(5) Ability to share knowledge and experience with other Engineers.
(6) Should have superior technical report writing skills.
(7) Should have computer proficiency and good physical condition.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Candidate should have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10 years of experience. Should have membership of International Engineering Society and a valid driver license. Should have experience in:
(1) providing technical consultations on issues related to HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning).
(2) Troubleshooting field problems related to HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning). Discusses, coordinates and resolves HVAC problems with personnel throughout Aramco and subsidiaries and with outside of Company organizations.
(3) Reviewing project Design Basis Scoping Papers (Doss) and design packages Lead Fitness for Service (FFS)
assessments and recommend repairs, alterations and re-rating of existing process equipment and HVAC/Utility systems.
(4) Supporting the installation and commissioning of HVAC system.
(5) Recommending new continuous improvement solutions for installations or modifications to improve existing HVAC facilities and standardization within specific fields of endeavor.
(6) Estimating costs, preparing justifications and completing expenditure requests as required.
(7) Ability to improve HVAC system efficiency and introduce new technologies related to HVAC systems.
(8) Ability to prepare maintenance requirement for the HVAC system such as preventive maintenance (PM) and scope of work to maintain HVAC system components.
