Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinates with operations in preparation of installation manuals on assigned projects.
• Coordinates with operations on-site/offshore platform, subsea and pipeline installations.
• Provides technical assistance to the company’s operational personnel and the customer’s representative.
• Coordinates project, cost control and contract administration for project; negotiates subcontracts, as required.
• Conducts meeting to resolve or effect settlement on contract disputes and refers unsolved disputes to management for final resolution.
• Coordinates the post job analysis of assigned projects.
• Checks and interprets drawings for barge superintendent during installation phase.
• Provides support to marine estimating and proposal activities when not assigned to projects.
• Other duties as directed by Division Manager.

Applicant Requirements:

• BS Civil, Mechanical or Ocean Engineering.
• 3 to 10 years offshore installation engineering, marine operations and/or project engineering experience with pipelay and/or fixed and floating facility installations.
• Proficiency in Windows XP, MS Office Suite and MS Project.
• Should have fluent English speaking and writing skills.
• Able to work in the United States.


Job Requirements: Must have BS/MS Civil, Mechanical or Ocean Engineering with 3 to 8 years of offshore installation engineering, marine operations and/or project engineering experience for deepwater pipelay (S-lay, J-lay, reel-lay), subsea installation and/or facility installations. Amelia office based with some travel and work offshore required. Must have a working proficiency in Windows XP, MS Office Suite and MS Project. Literacy in Spanish is a plus.
