Brainhunter ProTec has been retained by several world class EPC companies to expand their Front End Engineering teams. These companies are developing International multi-billion dollar petrochemical projects.
This is an opportunity to get involved in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) projects where your knowledge and skills in design and engineering will be critical to the success of these projects.
OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN ONCE IN A LIFETIME PROJECTS
The following opportunity requires experience in one of the following petrochemical process engineering disciplines including refining, oil & gas, offshore, pipelines, power, aromatics, plastics, polymers, ethylene as well as solids handling will be considered. You must be a degreed Engineer. Brainhunter is currently looking to speak with all levels of process engineers with skills in conceptual design
Control Systems Engineer (I&C)
Job Description:
• 15-25 years extensive experience in the preparation of the project front end engineering studies (FEED), proposals, bid evaluation and detail design with major oil companies and engineering, procurement and construction EPC contractors in Canada and overseas.
• Specialized in the design and applications of the Instrumentation & Control Systems for oil refineries, gas plants, petrochemicals, onshore/offshore oil facilities and power generation and utility plants.
• Responsible for the design, checking and approval of project related documents
• Solve construction field problems and providing technical assistance during project execution.
• Staff management experience
• Subject matter expert in control systems
• Group lead or staff management experience
• DCS engineering & configuration, SIS engineering & programming
Requirements and Qualifications:
• BSc in Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Technology diploma in Instrumentation and Controls, Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer preferred
• Minimum of 15 plus years related experience in the petrochemical, refinery and oil & gas industry
• Engineering experience in the fields of telecommunications, process analyzers, field & control room instrumentation;
• P&ID, C&E, logic control narrative development;
• Experience in Front End as well as Detailed Engineering phases would be an asset.
• Familiar with INtools, PDS and/or PDMS modeling proficiency.
• Familiar with the latest international and industry standards such as API, IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ISA, CSA and NEMA
