Salary Range: $37 - $69 per hour depending on experience
Description: Our large EPC client is currently looking for intermediate and senior level Process Engineers for their Calgary office. The ideal candidates will have specific expertise in areas of heavy oil and gas, power, steam and cogeneration facilities. For these positions, excellent knowledge of HYSIS is required; as well as approval of process specifications and other supporting process information schemes for the upgrading of heavy oil and gas. Evaluating reliability of designs and process configurations and optimizing processing schemes using linear programming and DBM; review and creation of PFD's & P&ID's, HAZOP's; equipment selection and sizing of pumps and separators etc. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be team orientated.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a B. Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering and be registered with APEGBC, or be eligible to do so. The successful candidates will have 5+ years of experience, which includes previous experience working on mid-to-large scale projects. Project Management or Lead experience would be an asset. The ideal background candidates should possess is oil and gas and refinery. These positions are long term contracts with the possibility of going permanent for the right individuals.
