Gas Pipeline client in Eastern New York State needs an Operations Supervisor for its gas distribution, transmission, and storage facilities operations. Lead the operation and maintenance of facilities and related equipment, monitor and inspect job sites for safety, correct operations, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Develop, implement and monitor budgets for Operations & Maintenance and Capital Projects. Lead the workforce plan and schedule work, train and coach employees, administer company policies and union contract. Requires 5 years in industry with at least 2 years as a supervisor, with experience with gas storage and compressor facilities, natural gas transmission pipelines, compressor stations, measurement & regulation stations. You will need an understanding and experience with applicable regulations such as DOT, OSHA, FERC, EPA, etc.). Excellent benefits are provided including performance bonus, and relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
