Excellent PROCESS ENGINEER opportunity for a well respected firm in eastern Texas. Must Have BS Degree in Chemical Engineering and Must Have a minimum of 2+ years experience in the Petrochemical industry working on production or operations. A BIG PLUS to have any tangible experience in ANY of: six sigma, distillation and simulation, performing process material and energy balances on unit operations, OR, specifically, production engineering working in day-to-day operations.
Position will work with day-to-day petrochemical production operations in monitoring production, focusing on key performance and output indicators, monitoring equipment reliability and performance, teaming in six sigma improvement projects, assisting in unit HAZOP evaluations and EH&S initiatives, performing process material and energy balances on unit operations, recommending process improvements, recommending production adjustments, and teaming in troubleshooting unit operations. Will assist in identifying projects for capital improvements with a significant role in determining scope and input/review of engineering, design, vendors providing equipment and plant services, and construction.
