Highly successful and rapidly growing independent midstream crude oil transportation and marketing company is seeking to hire an Associate Integrity Specialist for their corporate office in Houston, TX.
This client is actively interviewing and is seeking that candidate who wants to make a difference and achieve the highest level of excellence based on their abilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Coordinate, schedule and facilitate non-jurisdictional Risk Screening Process (RSP) assessment meetings
• Compile and/or prepare RSP assessment support maps and documents
• Prepare and distribute complete and concise RSP meeting documentation and populated master tracking worksheets/databases with appropriate information
• Facilitate the development of realistic RSP Action Plans aimed at mitigating risks associated with non-jurisdictional pipeline systems
• Monitor implementation progress of approved Action Plans
• Implement RSP initiative efforts in accordance with corporate goals and policy
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as an Asset Integrity Group liaison for non-jurisdictional pipelines in an environment focused on preventing releases, identifying best practices and improving work process efficiencies
• Work closely with the corporate Operations Management Team to identify potential pipeline risks and develop practical risk mitigation solutions for low stress and/or gathering systems
• Work closely with individuals at all levels within the Division and District organizations to identify high risk pipeline assets and develop appropriate risk mitigation Action Plans
• Evaluate information generated via the RSP in an effort to identify potential trends and prepare reports to clearly convey the learnings to various stakeholders within company
• Work with both field and corporate level stakeholders to develop annual program goals and associated metrics
• Support the development of the annual budget as well as longer term spending estimates
• Maintain clear and concise documentation to support above
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 year Associates Degree majoring in Science or Technical disciplines. Other degrees or levels of education may be considered if enhanced with appropriate work experience
• 5+ years experience in non jurisdictional operations and maintenance
• Solid understanding of failure mechanisms (corrosion, 3rd part damage, etc) and practical mitigation measures in gathering systems
• Basic understanding of pipeline integrity management and associated regulatory expectations/guidelines
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to facilitate challenging group scenarios
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe and ArcView software products
• Willingness to travel to field locations +/- 40%
