CCL has been requested by a leading international engineering consultancy to provide Project Logistics Leads to perform final closeout of assignments by reviewing all reports and documentation to ensure all required inspections are complete and that the Supplier Performance form has been submitted. Although client prefers candidates based in Houston area relocation assistance will be considered for out of state candidates. Contract or staff position with compensation / package dependent on experience and qualifications. This vacancy is being handled by CCL’s Houston Office.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, related field or equivalent work experience in planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting all logistics activities required on the project, including timely shipping and delivery of equipment, materials, supplies and tools & equipment. Reports to Project Procurement Manager. Computer literate. Ability to work as part of a team efficiently and demonstrate effective organisational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks with strong communication and presentation including fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the U.S.A.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Petrochem / Refinery plus EPC Company background. Large project experience beneficial. Manage transport, shipping and documentation requirements. Schedule and arrange shipments to meet project requirements. Coordinate inbound / outbound shipments with transport related agencies. Prepare and maintain related documentation as required by applicable governmental agencies. Ensure adherence / compliance to regulations. Review / monitor budgets / costs. Proactively identify any deviations and / or cost trends and engage Project Team to resolve problems. Keep project informed of problems, corrective actions and current status of transportation and logistics activities as necessary.
