Job descriptionPurpose:
To promote, coordinate, maintain and follow Agip KCO HSE MS, strategy, policies and procedures.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• To coordinate all Health, Safety and Environment activities related to the Onshore Site construction works, ensuring their alignment with Agip KCO HSE practice and local rules and regulations;
• Acting as a focal point for resolving any critical situations and queries related to site HSE, in line with corporate requirements and local legislation;
• Support of Agip Site Management by evaluation of contractors plans, procedures and performance.
• Organize and coordinate:
- Compliance with AgipKCO HSEMS
- HSE Auditing
- Reporting
RequirementsQualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
• Diploma or equivalent Health and Safety Management;
• Minimum 15 years of working experience in HSE discipline, preferably in complex onshore oil and gas project.
• Experience working in H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HSE;
• Fluent English;
• Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be an advantage;
• A previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with a major International Contractor (advantageous).
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
• Good knowledge and understanding of international HSE codes and standards, local rules and regulations.
• Good knowledge of HSE information systems and ability to establish and maintain them.
• Good abilities to read, write, understand and explain documentation, share information with others and train and develop the national staff.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to create friendly working environment.
• Very good English skills.
