A heavy industrial construction company that targets power, chemical, mining & minerals, Air Quality Control systems, and commercial structural projects is actively searching for a Corporate QC Manager for a direct hire position just north of Denver, Colorado. Candidates must have a BS Engineering Degree or Construction Management, CWI Level III, and at least 15 years of management experience preferably 5 years as Corporate QC Manager. Additional experience in field QA/QC, pipe and structural welding, and a strong ASME background preferred. Experience must be attained while working for a heavy industrial construction company in the following areas: Structural Steel, boilers, heat recovery steam generators and furnaces, Air Quality Control systems, field fabricated duct work, ASME Code type projects, heavy rigging, and open shop contracting experience. The scope of the position will be responsible for overseeing Corporate QA/QC program in the construction of industrial projects. Responsibilities include: writing and implementing QA/QC policies and procedures; oversight of management QC teams and support personnel; and oversight of QA/QC to insure safe and quality construction practices are followed. Position will require extensive business travel and may require living for an extended time at or near a project site. This is a great opportunity to get in the door with a growing company.
