A client with a location in Northern Houston has an immediate need for a Senior Project Engineer. This position has the responsibilities of overseeing and engineering digital and analog Circuit components used in the oil field industry. You engineering techniques will be used to build, install, operate and monitor equipment in the pipeline industry. The engineer will read microprocessor schematics, install flow and pressure sensors, engineer electronic board components and package. Candidates should expect about 20% fieldwork for this position. Candidates having experience in the oilfield industry or marine experience, mechanical and hydraulic skills, and a strong understanding in embedded systems will have an advantage. All candidates applying for this position must have at least 3 years of experience in the pipeline or oilfield industry. A BSEE degree is required for this position. The client has a very good benefits package that includes a 401-K. The client prefers local candidates for this position and wants to fill the position as soon as possible.
