IMMEDIATE NEED! Engineering & Construction client is looking for a Lead Project Estimator with 10-20+ years of direct experience estimating process plant, petrochemical, or refinery EPC type projects. The ideal candidate will have experience developing complete project estimates (mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, piping, & instrumentation), but you at least need experience creating mechanical (equipment) estimates on these refinery type projects.
You need a BS degree in Engineering, Construction (or similar area). You will be expected to prepare estimates in both a conceptual and detailed design format. You will be expected to support managers in creating & submitting proposals for new project work. You should be experienced with utilizing computerized estimating systems & software. Any experience using Aspen Kbase (formerly known as Icarus) estimating software would be a big PLUS. Any experience in Clean Fuel Upgrades, Revamp work, Capacity Expansion, De-bottlenecking and Ethanol MFG is considered a PLUS.

Questions you will be asked:
• How many years of experience do you have as an Estimator supporting process plant, petrochemical, or refinery EPC projects? Did you hold the job title of Estimator? Are you doing this now?
• Explain your experience using computerized estimating systems & software. Any experience with Kbase?
• How much experience do you have creating mechanical estimates for these process plant type EPC projects?
• Do you have any experience creating complete (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical & instrumentation) estimates for process plant EPC projects?
• Do you have any estimating experience in Clean Fuel Upgrades, Revamp work, Capacity Expansion, De-bottlenecking and Ethanol MFG?
