One of our major clients is currently seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join their QLD Planning group based in Brisbane CBD. This role is a long term contract position for work on a multi billion dollar LNG Project based overseas
Job
Accountabilities:
To coordinate between disciplines the scoping and scheduling of construction activities for the FEED phase for the upstream processing facilities and 800km overland and sub-sea gas pipeline.
Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory, code requirements and specifications.
To monitor the cost aspects of the project within direct control to forecast final costs, to identify trends and takes action to avoid cost overruns.
Requirements:
Technical qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction.
5+ years experience on site construction
Proven coordination and technical writing capability for major infrastructure projects associated with earthworks, roads, bridges, pipelines, port facilities or process facilities.
Familiarity or experience in FEED studies in remote locations.
Experience in the coordination, scheduling and operation of site works in remote locations.
