Searching for an Electrical Engineer with Chemical, Petrochemical or Refinery experience for a permanent assignment in the Mid-Atlantic area. Requirements include a BSEE or Technical equivalent and 3+ years working in instrumentation-pressure, flow, temperature, electrical, digital, application and testing, in hazardous areas with an understanding of the National Electrical Code and API RP 500. Successful candidate will be high energy, computer literate, with well developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Questions you will be asked:
• Do you hold a BSEE or Technical equivalent? In what discipline and where was it earned?
• Do you have 3+ years working in instrumentation-pressure, flow, temperature, electrical, digital, application and testing, in hazardous areas with an understanding of the National Electrical Code and API RP 500 in hazardous areas of a refinery, petrochemical or chemical plant? Where and when?
• Describe your understanding of understanding of the National Electrical Code and API RP 500.
• Using a scale of 1- 10, where 10 is the most competent, rate your software skills using MS Office, specifically Outlook, Work and Excel.
