Rotating Equipment Inspector - KGP

Woodside has an exciting future of growth and sustainability and are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Rotating Equipment Inspectors. Working on the Karratha Gas Plant (KGP), which is operated by Woodside on behalf of the North West Shelf Venture (NWSV), this role is crucial in inspecting, maintaining and providing QA/QC on the many large rotating equipment assets across the KGP. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your hands on experience and ability to deliver first rate inspection services through the key accountabilities and deliverables of this role, some of which are listed below.

Key Accountabilities include:

* Provide rotating equipment shutdown QA/QC service and technical support to the KGP to achieve Woodside’s business plan objectives in safety, reliability, integrity and cost effective operation of the rotating equipment (RE) assets
* Ensuring accurate standards, procedures and specifications are in place for the maintenance of the plant’s rotating equipment assets
* Maintaining accurate RE records including protocols and equipment history
* Provide coaching and mentoring to Production, Maintenance and junior Engineering staff
* Provide draft RE work scopes and review existing work scopes
* Review key RE maintenance strategies
* Accountability for QA/QC matters relating to the KGP’s RE assets

Qualifications

* Mechanical trade background with supporting trade qualifications
* Proven experience with rotating equipment in the hydrocarbon industry
* Demonstrated experience in a supervisory/rotating equipment inspection role highly desirable
