Static Plant Inspector - KGP

Join Woodside as a Plant Inspector and you will have the opportunity to work with the industry’s best. The role of Plant Inspector on Woodside’s Karratha Gas Plant (KGP) is to provide comprehensive and accurate reports on all static plant assets. You will have the opportunity of displaying your technical expertise and industry knowledge by delivering on the key accountabilities as listed below.

Key Accountabilities:

* Conduct, plan and record inspections of all plant static assets such as LNG Trains and storage and loading facilities
* Interface with the maintenance department for the KGP on all maintenance activities
* Monitor contractor performance with respect to plant integrity
* Provide technical inspection input to various other disciplines (i.e. coatings, civil, QA)
* Provide QA/QC services to other departments
* Provide advice on materials selection and inspection techniques
* Monitor process conditions relevant to plant integrity
* Contribute in risk based inspection
* Ensure adherence to statutory and internal industry standards and specifications

Qualifications

* Trade qualification in Non Destructive Testing (NDT) or Mechanical trade (or equivalent)
* In-Service Inspector qualifications (AICIP – Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel) or similar
* Previous experience in a similar role in the oil and gas industry
* Strong appreciation and working understanding for technical integrity
