LNG Development - Project Engineer

With major LNG projects currently under construction and a pipeline of future LNG developments, our goal is to be a global leader in liquefied natural gas production by 2015.

Woodside’s LNG Development group is at the heart of this exciting future and is charged with the initiation, front end concept selection studies and establishing the basis for project execution for the Pluto, North West Shelf, Sunrise and Browse LNG projects.

We offer the breadth of possibilities in the LNG industry; greenfield onshore developments, brownfield expansions, offshore floating LNG, operating plant debottlenecking and upgrade. This diversity offers the chance for an individual to continue, or build, a career in LNG, based in Perth, but with potential for work operational locations including overseas.

As Woodside is currently in various stages of development of three world scale LNG developments, we are currently looking to hear from Project Engineers with varying levels of experience.

In these roles you will:

* Provide input into the front-end engineering design of LNG facilities and associated utilities
* Have significant involvement in the project phase of front end engineering design, detailed design and execution
* Supervise contractors
* Work within multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

* You will hold a relevant engineering degree
* You will have strong oil & gas and/or refining experience
* Have experience supervising contractors and consultants
* Previous LNG experience will be highly regarded, as will previous experience working on large projects
