Description
As a member of the Subsea & Pipelines function, you have the opportunity to contribute to and support Woodside’s continued business growth.
The Subsea & Pipelines Function’s business objective is to efficiently manage Woodside's opportunities, projects and assets to secure full production potential whilst ensuring that the risks to personnel and the environment remain within acceptable limits. The Subsea & Pipelines function has single point accountability, responsibility and authority to:
* Ensure that subsea production systems are competently assessed and selected for all opportunities
* Ensure subsea production systems are completely engineered and managed in all projects, and to ensure the products (Tree systems, manifolds, control systems and umbilicals) are delivered in accordance with agreed cost and schedule requirements
* Ensure subsea facilities production performance is safeguarded. Ensure that subsea facilities are properly managed and Inspected, Maintained and repaired (IMR), preserving integrity and optimizing system availability
* Assure life cycle integrity of subsea production systems
* Identify, evaluate and manage the introduction of new and/or new to Woodside subsea technology to Opportunities/developments, projects and Operating assets
With expected portfolio growth there is a need to strengthen the Subsea & Pipelines Function with experienced Subsea Engineers.
In this role you will:
* Be responsible for the specification of subsea tree and wellhead systems, and provide support in the construction, integration, testing, and installation of these systems.
* Accountable for tree & wellhead system engineering support and products from assigned suppliers to subsea opportunities, projects, operation and installation teams.
* Be responsible for interfaces with the other elements of a Subsea Production System
* Maintain current design standards and work to develop specifications for Tree Systems to meet Woodside future portfolio needs
* Participate in developing and maintaining testing, installation, operation, and maintenance procedures
* Work with Contractors/Vendors to design, manufacture, and test subsea tree system - both 5" and 7" systems
* Be the Technical authority for tree & wellhead systems. You will participate in integrity assurance activities and provide technical advice, standards, plans and reports for assuring and monitoring the lifecycle integrity of Woodside’s subsea tree & wellhead systems.
Qualifications
* Relevant Bachelor’s degree
* At least 10 years experience in the specification, design, manufacture, testing and installation of subsea tree & wellhead systems
* Strong subsea technical and engineering skills particularly in the resolution of subsea tree & wellhead & WOR systems technical integrity issues
* Managing diverse workload for multiple customers. History of working with complex processes and organizations (functional/matrix)
* Experience with Offshore Production Operations is beneficial
* Deep water subsea facilities or operations experience
