The Subsea Function business objective is to efficiently manage Woodside's opportunities, projects and assets to secure full production potential whilst ensuring that the risks to personnel and the environment remain within acceptable limits. We are given single point accountability, responsibility and authority to:

* Ensure that subsea production systems are competently assessed and selected for all opportunities
* Ensure subsea production systems are completely engineered and managed in all projects, and to ensure the products (Tree systems, manifolds, control systems and umbilicals) are delivered in accordance with agreed cost and schedule requirements
* Ensure subsea facilities production performance is safeguarded. Ensure that subsea facilities are properly managed and Inspected, Maintained and repaired (IMR), preserving integrity and optimizing system availability
* Assure life cycle integrity of subsea production systems
* Identify, evaluate and manage the introduction of new and/or new to Woodside subsea technology to Opportunities/developments, projects and Operating assets

The Subsea Function is approx. 90 persons strong. With expected portfolio growth there is a need to strengthen the Subsea Function with experienced Subsea Engineers. We are looking to strengthen all disciplines in the Subsea Delivery Team (manifold/connection systems, Control&umbilicals and Tree systems).

Tree System Engineering
# Responsible for the specification of, construction, integration, testing, and installation of subsea trees.
# Responsible for interfaces with the other elements of a Subsea Production System
# Maintaining current design standards and work to develop specifications for Tree Systems to meet Woodside future portfolio needs
# Participates in developing and maintaining testing, installation, operation, and maintenance procedures
# Work with Contractors/Vendors to design, manufacture, and test subsea tree system - both 5" and 7" systems

Tree System Installation

* Manage Subsea Tree installation, well intervention and workover activities.
* Coordinate the input to Drilling &Completion procedures for offshore subsea well completion, intervention and workover activities
* Coordinate the definition of equipment and personnel requirements for onshore and offshore activities.
* Resolve technical and operational issues during onshore and offshore activities. This is to cover all aspects of the well completion and workover equipment, including control system.
* Review and resolve vendor equipment interfaces with installation vessels. Co-ordinate the design and build of interface structures and skids as required. Resolve completion riser analysis and operational issues.
* Monitor and report on execution of offshore activities. This is to include execution of activities, performance of equipment and costs. Feedback performance and learning from offshore activities.
* Prepare scope of Work and equipment required for offshore subsea well completion and intervention activities.
* Monitor well completions and workover equipment status and forward plans for equipment usage. Highlight equipment conflicts and constraints to planned usage.
* Oversee execution of offshore activities from the Point of mobilisation to demobilisation back to the Perth Base.
* Provide input to the overall Aftermarket schedule of work. Provide support to Aftermarket Team Lead during mobilisation and de-mobilisation activities.
* Provide input to design of well completion and workover systems equipment. Attended Design Reviews. Review Vendor technical and procedural documents.
* Provide feedback and support to Tree Hardware Lead/Engineers and Package Engineers.

Qualifications

* Relevant Bachelor’s degree
* Significant experience in design, fabrication & installation of subsea trees and their interfaces
* Managing diverse workload for multiple customers. History of working with complex processes and organizations (functional/matrix)
* Experience with Offshore Production Operations is beneficial
* Deep water subsea facilities or operations experience
* Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to effectively manage or actively support the teams in a diverse, multidisciplinary group
* Demonstrated project management skills are beneficial. As is experience in managing multiple small to medium-sized projects
