Drilling Operations Engineers - Offshore

Description Our client is a European operator with several assets in West Africa. Rapidly expanding, they are now looking for two Drilling Operations Engineers to support their existing and planned teams in Cameroon and Gabon. The Engineers will be responsible for planning and executing offshore exploration drilling operations. The current rig is a Jack-up with maybe a semi-sub arriving later. There may also be the opportunity to move into Deep Water operations later in the programme. Rotations will be 28/28 days with two days' travel paid per hitch and Business Class airfares. Rates will be very competitive. French language skills would be an advantage.

5 - 10 years' operational experience, much in West Africa, ideally with a major Operating Company. Ability to fluently write and speak English (French would be a positive). Strong contract development and administration skills. Ability to function in a multi-discipline team. Exposure to start-up operations. Ideally onshore field experience as a Drilling Engineer/Supervisor.
