Senior Geophysicist

Description Our client requires a Senior Geophysicist on contract to start as soon as possible. The position will be based in France - and will be for approx 3 months. They are looking for an experienced Geophysicist to join their New Asset Development department. Main responsibilities will be interpretation and evaluation of the seismic in the block in Africa. The work consists of seismic interpretation, well to seismic tie, time to depth conversion and mapping the main horizons, including the overall structural understanding; this work is to be done in close collaboration with the geologists. Other possible duties includes the participation in volumetric calculation and risk assessment (using integrated seismic and geological data, identify and asses key subsurface uncertainties).

Candidates must have a very good working knowledge with Charisma and CPS 3
