Chemist Position in east Texas!!!

Excellent opportunity for a PLANT CHEMIST for a highly regarded firm in eastern Texas. Need BS Degree in Chemistry; minimum 5 years experience as a chemist in a refinery or chemical plant laboratory; and working knowledge of laboratory testing equipment including gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, distillation, MDA, and gravitometers.

Position will oversee the quality of all products and feedstocks, maintain the product specifications and purchased material specifications, and perform special studies to support Operations and Process Engineers troubleshooting production problems. Will also develop procedures, train technicians, manage lab electronic reporting system, manage lab equipment repairs, and recommend and justify new lab equipment and upgrades.
