THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major energy company to provide a Contracts Engineer / Administrator. Based in South Africa under a 1 year (renewable) contract with excellent prospects of long term assignment as client has ongoing projects in Africa and Australasia. Must be able to travel worldwide as required. Excellent rate for right candidate.
THE PERSON
Proven experience in oil and gas. Previous experience of working in Africa, for example in Nigeria or Angola is desirable. Initial focus will be concentrated on two onshore producing wells and two offshore exploration wells in process of being drilled.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will be well educated and degree / equivalent qualifications. Good interpersonal and communication skills including fluent written and spoken English. Strong team focus with ability to work across disciplines and cultures in various locations, and able to facilitate problem resolution. Good organisational, planning and prioritising abilities. Applications from South African citizens / residents are particularly welcomed.
