Our client is an international engineering group with a strong and established business in Perth. It is highly regarded a leader in the development of midstream design solutions and has an exceptional track-record in conceptual study work, FEED, detail design and construction management on upstream and downstream projects. Focused on quality, innovation and value engineering, our client has developed an impressive portfolio of work with major international operators. It is widely recognised as one of Perth's most successful engineering companies and has is set to become a major player in the Australian market in the coming year. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of eight years' experience in mechanical engineering and be able to demonstrate a strong focus on piping design, layouts and stress analysis. Ideally you will have held the position of Senior Piping Engineer on at least two major upstream projects and your project portfolio will be heavily oil and gas biased. As Lead Engineer, you will be expected to perform at a high level, providing expert engineering design and management services to clients. As you will be required to liaise with other discipline engineers, manage and check the work of juniors and represent the company with clients, you will need to have excellent communication skills. You must have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Masters degree or chartered status would be highly regarded. Our client is willing to offer relocation packages to those candidates living interstate and will consider applicants from overseas only when proof of a valid working visa can be supplied.
