Systech was established in 1990 and is now a top ten quantity surveying and dispute resolution consultancy that employs 500+ staff across five continents. We provide quantity surveying and construction onsultancy services on various projects including power plant / desalination projects, major building and civils projects, infrastructure etc. and have an immediate need for a Project Estimator to join our team based in Houston, Texas.
Ideally, you will be an experienced Estimator with strong data processing management skills and a pragmatic approach to providing solutions on large, complex projects. Candidates should have previous upstream oil and gas experience and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and software associated with estimate preparation and reconciliation.
Experience and responsibilities will include the following:
Preparation of concept selection
Review and conditioning of contractor prepared estimates
Preparation of estimate confidence and estimate review presentations for management.
P3e / P6 experience
Offshore and (or) onshore oil and gas experience
Risk Analysis experience
This challenging position is site based (Nigeria); you will need to be willing to relocate or work rotations from Nigeria.
The successful candidate will be educated ideally to degree level or equivalent, have a proven track record on similar projects and be able to work as part of a dynamic, proactive team.
