THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Mechanical & Piping Superintendent for a position based in Kazakhstan. One year (renewable) contract, 4/4 rotation. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Candidates should have minimum 10 years supervisory experience in Mechanical and Piping Engineering role. Experience on international site construction activity. Previous experience working abroad in a high Safety Culture environment. Reports to Head of Construction. Purpose: Coordinate and supervise the construction activities relating to the Mechanical & Piping discipline and relevant to the Infrastructure Projects. Ensure the associated projects of his competence are handed over to the clients according to schedule and procedures. Mentor and assist Local Staff in the implementation of their duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. An understanding of GOST and SNIP standards. An understanding of relevant Regulatory Approval and Licensing procedures. Proactive approach to decisional process in the pertinent discipline. Ability to handle multitasks simultaneously. Problem solving, ability solving skills. Ability in leading a construction Team. Good communication skills: able to work in team, to interface with people with different cultural background. Good knowledge of International standards. Good understanding of HSE rules and regulations. An understanding of RoK Regulatory Approval and Licensing procedures. Excellent computer, including MS Project and AutoCAD, and communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English. Russian an additional advantage.
