Description: Client has an immediate opening for a Senior Structural Engineer to play a major role in the structural engineering and design of large transportable steel modules/topsides for offshore oil & gas platform facilities, and in the development of all associated engineering documents. Must be able to take a hands-on role in the specification development, design and analysis of structures as well as provide supervision/guidance and coordination to a team of engineers and designers. Requirements 10 to 15 years industry experience. Must have previous experience in the design of modular units for offshore oil & gas platforms, including the design and analysis of topsides and related secondary structures for the full range of load conditions to which they may be subjected. Must have experience with and be very familiar with SACS and must have experience of working in a team environment and taking a lead role. Full knowledge of analyses for Loadout, Transportation, Launch, Lift, Inplace, Seismic, Fatigue and Blast conditions. Knowledge of PDMS & ANSYS is a plus. Artic experience is a must, as is offshore. Priority will be given to candidates with prior work experience with Sakhalin Island projects.
